The Greek word translated in the New Testament as 'church' is ecclesia, meaning "assembly". JI Packer says, "Essentially, the church is, was, and always will be a single worshiping community, permanently gathered in the true sanctuary which is the heavenly Jerusalem, the place of God's presence." (Concise Theology)

At times when it is coming at us from ever side, and we feel alone he is there to help us. all we have to is call his name.
On the the cold lonely nights as I lane in bed crying over the things. that had happen. I can feel him setting on the side of my bed with his hand on my shoulder.
He is always there in our darkess hour.
God will never leave us. call on HIM!

| Church: Drowning in the river |

Drowning in the river, all I feel is pressure I’m loosing all hope, the pain is suffocating, my out reached arm is sinking down, I can’t breathe. God where are you? I can’t see the light; I’m in a storm, the wind pushing me further under, I need support a wind shield but nothings there, the waves are getting worse water in my lungs, the weight is pushing me down. The weight of the guilt I’m ashamed, the bottom is near, I can feel the coldness, ice is screaming through my body.
