 Faith: My Alabaster Box

FaithAnonymous writes

You should not judge me when I've come with my alabaster box It cost me a quite a whole lot I've paid for it with my years' wages You don't know what I went through to earn those wages The ridicule and shame... the many times I've been spoken about Even when those that pretend to be my friends have judged me and condemned me... Yet I must still smile and pretend everything is okay... My job requires that of me for I must get my wage I cannot share the pain and hurt I feel for I am considered less than a woman... No rights, no joy, no honour... I think of you Jesus as I come with my alabaster box. You were invited here but as I look at your feet I see they are not washed nor annointed... While I weep I will wash your feet ... I will dishonour myself; uncover and let down my hair to wipe your feet... You were invited but not really appreciated... You still have not found a place in the hearts of those you have been sacrificed for... Like me Jesus, but today I want to pour the contents of my alabaster box on your feet I am not worthy to really touch you But as I give to you I know that something is happening... The cost of my life was not in my wages but in sitting at your feet knowing that you allowed me a sinner to serve the Mighty King... I have emptied my alabaster box at your feet Jesus but you have filled my heart

 Faith: Science or Scripture?

FaithScotty writes

Does God exist? we ask ourselves
Or is he but a myth?
That, we in times of trouble
Do salve our sorrows with.
For science says with learned word
All life came from the sea
Yes every living thing on earth
Including, you and me.
This world they tell us came to be
By a great bang deep in space
That spawned the earth and planets
And us the human race.
So now we have a choice to make
Which premise to believe
Did God Allmighty make our world
Or sciences thoughts perceive?
True faith will give that answer
For in hearts where God is King
All doubts and fears are answered
By the truth that his love does bring.

 Faith: I BELIEVE

FaithAnonymous writes

I believe there is a place far above this world
where lies the father of all in his might

 Faith: Restored Faith

FaithAnonymous writes

In silence and fear were they
Those three fateful days
Their faith put to the test
As there Rabbi lay in the tomb at rest
Their unbelief in his resurrection
Evident in their insurrection
Of the women’s sightings
Of their supposed deceased Rabbi

Only once their own eyes
Upon him did lay
Was their faith renewed
And their tongues set free
To announce the victory
Of the Son of Man
Over Sin
