When our loved ones have to go
It hurts a lot this we all know
But think of what they have to gain
They're in Heaven and have no more pain

They are at peace and they are free
What a wonderful place to be
All our wildest dreams come true
How good to know we can have that to

So death for us is not so bad
We should feel happy instead of sad
To meet our Lord face to face
To be with him in his own place

So when the Father takes us away
Don't be sad be bright and gay
